I am a LMSW currently practicing medical social work in Austin, Texas. In school, I specialized in equity in education and spent years as an elementary school social worker in both Texas and New Jersey. I conducted a research study to figure out what most people feel like was missed in their health education curriculum for kids with female anatomy going through puberty, and put it together in a way that I hope readers are able to understand. Because over 1/3 of my participants said they'd be most comfortable receiving pubertal information on a Website, I created this resource as a way to provide information in a safe setting.
